Grace by Mary Casanova

Grace goes to Paris and she helps her uncle with a bake off and she wins it. My favorite character is Grace because she is awesome. She is a good Baker. I loved this book.

In the Heart of the Sea: The Wreck of the Whaleship Essex by Nathan Philbrick

The Whaleship Essex is attacked by a sperm whale and the crew has to survive on three lifeboats. Their food is soaked in salt water and there is no fresh water. My favorite character is Thomas Nickerson because the story is from the view of Nickerson and he did a good job in his diary. I liked this book because it is a fast moving book and gives facts about whaleships.

The Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage by Alfred Lansing

Endurance is about an expedition to cross Antarctica led by an ambitious man, Shackleton. My favorite character is Mrs. Chippy and the navigator because Mrs. Chippy is a cat and the navigator is a courageous person. I liked and loved this book because it was emotionally moving and an incredible story.

A Bride's Story by Kaoru Mori

Bride's Story takes place in the 19th century silk road countries where the everyday lives of people are told through the style of manga. Kaoru Mori draws with breathtaking detail the stories of women in this time. Many of the characters throughout the story are interesting and are constantly developing. It is really easy to get into the story because the characters are so interesting. I loved this series! The story was entertaining and interesting, the art is so beautiful! This is my favorite manga series because of ti's more serious style of drawing and writing. I would recommend this book for people who are looking for an entertaining and funny manga that has wonderful drawings.

Beauty Queens by Libba Bray

Beauty queens is about a group of beauty queens who crash on an island and they have to survive. Adina, from New Hampshire is one of my favorite characters because she is an anti-pageant contestant, which is hilarious because she is in a beauty pageant. I loved this book! Libba Bray has a sense of humor that fits perfectly with the novel. Everyone should read this book because it will make you laugh throughout the whole novel.

Clementine by Marla Frazee

Clementine cuts off Margaret's hair, then colors it red, then Clementine cuts off her own hair. Margaret colors it. Clementine tries to glue her hair on Margaret's head. Clementine is jealous of Margaret. I like Clementine and Margaret because they made me laugh and feel weird. I loved the book. I did not learn anything because it is a funny book. I love the part where Clementine says she has a beard. I recommend this book because it is awesome.

The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare

Kit Tyler is adjusting to life in a new town where things are very different form her home in the Bahamas. My favorite character is the cat and maybe Hannah Tupper is a good character. I liked this book because it was entertaining, but it was a bit slow pace.

The Interrupted Tale by Maryrose Wood

Penelope goes to the Swanburn Academy for Poor Bright Females to do a speech for the cake day, but the school was being run by Judge Quincy (Edward Ashton) who is turning the school into the "Miserable" school for females. My favorite character is Penelope because she is curious and adventurous. I liked this book because it was entertaining and interesting.

This Girl Is Different by J. J. Johnson

This book is about a homeschool girl who wants to pass her last high school year in a school. She sees all the differences between homeschool and school and the unequal things. My favorite character is Evie because she is very smart. I loved this book because it is a big question about life and we don't think like Evie.

The Unseen Guest by Maryrose Wood

Penelope is the governess to the three incorrigible children. The she finds out that Frederick's mother is coming to Ashton place. Frederick's mother had lost her husband to a tar pit, but is he really dead. My favorite character is Penelope because she is curious and is an interesting character. I loved this book because it was entertaining and interesting.

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

This book is about a 16 year old girl who is facing lung cancer. At a support group she meets a boy and falls in love. My favorite character is Isaac because he is funny and entertaining. I loved this book because it was intriguing.

Laika by Nick Abadzis

This book is about a dog in Russia who's fate leads her to the space program. My favorite character is the dog, Laika because she's a nice character. I liked this book because it was interesting.

The Unmapped Sea by Maryrose Wood

Lady Ashton is going to have a child, so to calm her nerves, the Ashton houshold goes to the East where it is very cold. Lady Ashton thinks they are going to Italy, on the beach, but is sadly mistaken. Penelope and the children go to hte inn and meet mysterious people. My favorite character is Penelope because she is respectful, but is curious and doesn't take "no" for an answer. I liked this book because it was entertaining and funny.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

Celea and Marco, after training in different areas of magic, face each other in a compilation to see who's kind of magic will win. But when they fall in love the plot further complicates. My favorite character is Celea, Marco and nearly all the characters because the author makes characters very likable and interesting. I loved this book because it was interesting and the audiobook is awesome because it is narrated by Jim Dale.

Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys

Lina wants to be an artist, but she, her family, and other people were taken to Siberia. Her father is separated from her family, and she has to make drawings to show him the way to them. I liked this book because it was sad but was entertaining. You should read this book because the story was definitely a page turner.

This book is about time travel. These two kids travel to the 20th century. They "stalk" Albert Einstein and his wife. They find out his daughter is a missing child of history that has been taken to the 21st century to grow up and she comes back to the 20th century to temporarily shift into her baby form to die (she's sick). Mileva then finds out about time travel and for 60 years she watched her family's life like a move. She was in a time hollow. Time doesn't exist in time hollows. An exampis she was pregnant and 60 years later isn't anymore. She tries to get her 13 year old daughter and husband to meet but time is preventing it. Right before he sees his daughter, Emily, time freezes to prevent it. Then Mileva understands she must choose between Albert and Emily. She ends up choosing Albert and living out a full life with 2 other sons but Emily died as a baby but lived as a teen. When Albert is an hour from death she explains everything and he dies happy. The 2 kids then go back to the 21st century where time has resumed (it was frozen) and they sneak back into class. I like this book because it was just amazing and I read ti in a day and I couldn't put it down. It's just an amazing. You should read this book because it very much resembles Dr. Who and it is very interesting and full of action and it's just great.

This book is about Ali and Cole taking down Anima Industries. They have to deal with their issues before they can save the world. I like this book because it has everything I like in it, action, romance and sad parts. You should read this book because it has many twists and turns that will keep you on your toes.

Nikki has been in the Everneath where Cool an everneath, has been sucking her life force. My favorite character is Will because he is a neutral character. It was an OK book.

Wuthering Heights by Charlotte Bronte

Mr. Lockwood goes to Wuthering Heights and one of the servants tells him a story.  It is a true story of the adventures of Catherine and Heathcliff. My favorite character is Cathy because she is curious, but is sometimes aggravating. I liked this book because it was entertaining and interesting. I also like the writing.

Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky

A troubled young man murders and old pawnbroker and her sister. My favorite character is Razumikhin because he is an interesting character and he is sometimes funny. I liked it because it made me think and the story is interesting.

The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey

Almost everyone on Earth has been wiped out by aliens in waves of destruction. The book begins with Cassie's group taking refuge in an abandoned hotel. But with winter coming and no sign of Evan Walker, they are starting to lose hope. My favorite character is Zombie because I like the name and he is a noble character. Cassie Sullivan because she is sarcastic, and Ringer because she is awesome, strong and likes chess. I loved this book because the writing is great, it's a page turner, and the story is interesting.

Spirited Away by Hayao Miyazaki

A girl who is moving to another town, becomes struck in a bath house for the spirits. Along the way she meets friends and enemies alike, who give her a job at the bath house. I like this book because it was humorous, entertaining, and comforting in a way. I liked the art and story also. The movie is great too. You should read this book because it was a good book.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling

A tournament is happening at Hogwart's You face challenges that you have to use magic to defeat. Students at Hogwart's below the age of 17 are not allowed. But Harry's name appears in the Goblet of Fire. Harry Potter is suspicious of who put it there. I like this book because it was entertaining, and has magic in it. I also liked this book because there are wizards such as Hermione, Ron and Harry. You should read this book because it was adventurous and funny.

Grave Mercy by Robin LeFevers

Isame, after running away from an arranged marriage, trains to become an assassin at a convent where girls carry out death's wishes. On Isame's third and most challenging assignment yet, will she have to kill the one she loves. (Oh no!) My favorite characters are Death and Annith (Isame's horse) because he is one of the few amusing characters and because Annith is interesting and helps the main character. I liked this book because this book because it was an interesting story but I didn't like most of the characters.

D. Gray-man by Katsura Hoshino

Allen walker and his crew discover another exorcist inside an orphanage, but a level four akuma comes. My favorite character is Kanda because he is very serious. I liked this book because it was entertaining and funny.

Chi's Sweet Home by Kanata Konami

The story takes place outside and in a family's home. Chi lost her mom and a family found her and is taking car of her. But there are no cats allowed in the apartment. My favorite character is Chi because he is a funny, cute, evil cat and is the most awesomest kitten in the world. I loved this book because it was so cute and funny. It was the best book I ever read.

Ivan is a gorilla at Big Top Mall. It tells about his life in Big Top Mall. My favorite character is Ivan because he is the only character that I have most knowledge about. I like this book because it's cool so far.

Q Jacobson is neighbors with Margo. The Margo who always disappears and she leaves clues behind. This time she left "The Song of Myself" behind and Q is determined to find her. My favorite part of the story is when they are all (Lasy, Ben, Radar and Q) going to find Margo and were rushing around to get there. I liked this book because it was entertaining and interesting.
